WABASH, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- Stephen Wilson’s quick thinking at a motorcycle crash last Wednesday, will not go unrewarded.
The young man who is being credited for saving the lives of two women will be recognized Tuesday for his actions.
Last Wednesday afternoon, Wilson was a witness the scene of the crash where 54 year old Terry Penrod and 53 year old Sue Raber were struck by a vehicle while riding a motorcycle. The crash was so severe that portions of both women’s lower left legs were severed. Wilson took the initiative to apply tourniquets to the women’s legs; an action that police say saved their lives.
