FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Fort Wayne woman accused of failing to stop after causing an Allen County sheriff's deputy to wreck his car, made her final appearance in court before her April trial Monday morning.

Jennifer Foley is accused of pulling out in front of the deputy on Dupont Road September 3rd.

Officials say the officer was on his way to a disturbance when he crashed through a fence and into a tree just off Dupont Road.

His lights and siren were on at the time.

The officer was airlifted by Samaritan Helicopter to Parkview Hospital.

He has since recovered.
