HENRYVILLE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Utility companies, gas companies, and other paid professionals are working to get Henryville back on the grid.

There is an army of volunteers that have also descended on the small Indiana town helping with the clean up.

One of the many national volunteer groups in town is Convoy of Hope out of Springfield Missouri.

They have put to work more than 600 volunteers who have come in from around the country.

Carl Lamb a Convoy of Hope Volunteer says, "From everywhere as far as Pennsylvania. Ohio, the majority have been from within an hours drive from here."

If you would like to volunteer Convoy of Hope is not turning anyone away.

They are stationed at the Henryville Community Church.

The United Way is also facilitating individual volunteers and volunteer groups.

To volunteer call 812-287-0519.
