FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) --- Leasing agents for "The Harrison" are pushing hard to try and lock in more commercial and residential tenants before the complex opens for business in early 2013.

Construction projects are always a work in progress.

The much talked about downtown project called "The Harrison" is coming right along.

On the ground floor, space being prepared for a Three Rivers Federal Credit Union branch is taking shape.

It's slower going in the center of floor number one, which is set to become O'Reilly's Irish Pub.

On the top floor, some of the 43 luxury apartments for rent now have drywall up.

The shower and Jacuzzi are installed in the most expensive apartment unit, going for $2,150 a month.

Another unit down the hall is labeled "The Wilson".

It features 1,200 square feet, leasing for $1,600 a month.

Rather than facing Parkview Field, it offers a view of downtown.

" We're excited about this space. We've taken a lot of people through, and for us, to show people this cityscape, it's pretty awesome," says Breck Geeting, the leasing agent with BND Commercial.

A total of three commercial tenants are committed to the project.

But at least 14,000 square feet of retail or office space remains empty.

Of the 43 apartment units, 19 now have signed leases.

We asked Geeting, what happens if the units are given their finishing touches, and there are still 15 to 20 vacancies.

" We don't see it as a difficult thing. We're going to continue to work hard and to lease these out, and the goal is obviously, let's get all 43 done. When people come to the games come April, you know, if the staff gets asked, you know, they can say call BND, they'll take you on a tour, so, we're excited for April and the TinCaps season, because we fell like we'll gain some more momentum then as well."

All the apartments, including those with a view of Parkview Field, should be done by February 1st.

In the commercial space down below, some of those tenants could be in as early as January.
