Simpson Selected As John Gregg Running Mate

Indianapolis, IN (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Democratic Gubernatorial candidate John Gregg made it official Tuesday afternoon, and named State Senator Vi Simpson as his running mate.

The announcement was made late Tuesday afternoon on the steps of the Statehouse.

Gregg says Vi has served her community and her state so well, and there is no doubt she is the best person for this job.

Gregg says she is prepared and ready to take on leadership at the highest level of state government.
