FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) --- A stash of cash is now available to try and entice tips in the March shooting of David Kuker.
$5,000 in reward money is now being offered through Crimestoppers.
The money was given to Crimestoppers as anonymous donations, trying to kickstart an investigation that is dealing with some roadblocks.
The Fort Wayne lawyer was shot in his garage on White Shell Drive in Aboite Township.
It happened in broad daylight, with an Allen County police cruiser parked across the street.
Kuker, who has since been released from the hospital, said the shooter sprayed something in his face, so he didn't get a good look at the suspect.
Thursday, Crimestoppers was approached with the $5,000 dollar reward.
Greg Lewis/Ft. Wayne Crimestoppers: " Which is like five times the amount that Crimestoppers would normally pay. What we're hoping for is that someone will come forward and give us some idea of what is going on here. And we're hoping maybe that this dollar amount may make somebody's memory get a little better."
The shooting made a lot of folks in the immediate neighborhood nervous, but police have made it clear it wasn’t a random crime, that the shooter targeted Kuker.
