FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - A new initiative aims to attract more people to the tastes of the Summit City. Savor Fort Wayne is being hosted by Visit Fort Wayne in January.

The 12 day event is bringing together more than 20 restaurants, and the event will offer some great deals for foodies who want to try out some new places. Some spots will be offering 3 course meals for two for $30.

"This is traditionally a slower time of the year for the restaurants. So they're willing to put together these opportunities for people to try their ware and taste their food. So we hope to reestablish Fort Wayne as a city of restaurants in the minds of visitors, that we take great pride in that moniker that we have here and it's another reason to visit our great city," said Dan O'Connell, President/CEO, Visit Fort Wayne.
