INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - According to the United States Department of Agriculture, fewer than 20-percent of school students eat the recommended daily servings of fruit, vegetables and whole grains and only 30-percent consume three-servings of dairy each day.
The good news is the National School Lunch Program is changing that negative trend.
Jenni Purcell, with the American Dairy Association of Indiana spoke with us about how school lunches are making the grade.
