FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – A second floor house fire brought fire fighters to a home just south of downtown Thursday morning.

When fire crews arrived at the home located in the 1200 block of Nuttman they found heavy smoke and fire coming from a second floor bedroom. As crews worked the file the fire spread to the attic area.

After about 20 minutes the fire was brought under control.

Luckily no one was at home at the time of the fire.

No injuries were reported.
