WASHINGTON (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The U.S. Secret Service has issued new conduct policies in response to an ongoing Colombian prostitution scandal that has gripped the agency.
The new stanards, which take effect immediately, prohibit agents from drinking within ten hours of a protective detail shift or while on call. Agents are also banned and from visiting questionable establishments.
Additionally, foreigners are no longer allowed in agents' hotel rooms.
Earlier this month, dozens of agents were expelled from Colombia after allegations surfaced agents used escorts on a prep trip days before President Obama arrived.
