Senate Votes Down All Democratic Amendments On RTW Bill

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The Right to Work bill is one step closer to becoming law in Indiana.

The Senate voted down all Democratic amendments, Tuesday.

Union workers are planning a protest, yet this week and want the issue to still be put to the public.

Herb Anderson, United Steel Workers 715 says, "We're hoping that they'd be willing to let the people of Indiana vote. This is an important decision and I think everybody ought to have the right to weigh in on that and hopefully they'll allow that amendment to get attached to the bill."

A final vote should come Wednesday and then, the bill would be sent to the Governor making Indiana the 23rd Right to Work State in the U.S.
