KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies and detectives obtained anonymous information in the last 24 hours that allowed them to locate and arrest a Cromwell man on theft charges.

The theft charges are related to the September theft from the Leesburg Liquor store. Nathanael Martin Tuttle, 35, of Crowell, was taken into custody shortly before noon at a residence near Chapman Lake, after he was found hiding inside a RV camper.

Officers preliminarily charged Tuttle with felony theft, as well as possession of precursors used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Tuttle was also found to have two outstanding warrants for his arrest in Elkhart County for unspecified charges.

K.C.S.D. detectives stated that numerous tips were received through our department and media outlets in the last 24 hours, after photos of Tuttle and a female individual were made public. Detectives stated that the case had gone cold until citizens became involved. The citizen involvement helped expedite information as to the identity and location of the suspect.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the help of citizens to identify two individuals involved in an active investigation.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals from surveillance footage obtained from Leesburg Liquors. The first person of interest is described as a white male, wearing black pants, a “Pink Floyd/Dark Side of the Moon” black T-shirt and a black ball cap with the wording “Roadway Express” in white. He appears to be clean shaven with sideburns, brown hair, slim build, with an approximate height of 5’6”.

The second person of interest is described as white female with bobbed/jaw-length, blondish-brown hair, wearing a pink, low-cut shirt, and approximately the same height as the male subject. The female also appears to have a tattoo on her right arm located between her shoulder and elbow.

The couple left the business driving what is described as a small to mid-sized, black, passenger car with possibly a chrome grill. Sheriff’s detectives also believe that the vehicle in question could have either black wheel covers, or none at all on what may be a Ford product automobile. There also appears to be a white decal, or bumper sticker directly below the license plate of the vehicle.

Citizens that might have pertinent information as related to either of the individuals or the vehicle in question are asked to call either the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department at 574-267-5667 or the anonymous TIP line at 574-372-2494.
