Man Shot & Killed In Car On Mauldin Drive Identified (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Police were called to the 2700 block of Mauldin Drive on reports of a fatal shooting just before 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the victim, Derrick D. Carlisle, 45, was located in a running blue Chevrolet with the window down. There are at least 10 shell casings in the area of the vehicle.

The Allen County Coroner confirmed that Carlisle died from gunshot wounds. This is the 22nd homicide victim for Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2013.

Police are looking for two suspects based on witness reports. Both suspects ran from the scene. Police described the first suspect as a black male standing 5'10'' and weighing roughly 150 pounds. He was wearing dark pants and a grey hoodie. He fled the scene on foot.

Police describe the second suspect as a hefty black male driving east on Mauldin in a red late 90's Cadillac with a white top. The vehicle was missing an emblem on the passenger side.

Contact the Fort Wayne Police department if have any information on the whereabouts of these two men. Police warn that these men are presumed to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
