Florida (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The queen of disco, Donna Summer, died.
The five time Grammy award winner was in Florida and had been battling cancer.
She reportedly was trying to finish an album she'd been working on.
Summer shot to super stardom in the 70's with hits like "Last Dance," "Hot Stuff" and "Bad Girls.” In the 80's, her hits were "She Works Hard for the Money" and "This Time I Know It's for Real."
Summer was 63 years old.
