Crews use ropes and ladders to pull the victim up a steep, 30-foot embankment
ORLAND, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Fire crews worked early this morning to free a man from his wrecked car.
Officials say the car lost control amid slick road conditions and drove off the road and down an embankment at County Road 700 West and State Road 120 and hit a tree around 4:30 this morning.
Emergency workers had to extricate the driver from the car, then used ropes and ladders to carry the driver up the steep 30 foot embankment.
The driver, a 32 year old man from Coldwater, Michigan, was hospitalized to be treated for severe pain at Cameron Hospital in Angola.
