FORT WAYNE/ HUNTINGTON, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - An area soldier killed in the line of duty is being honored Wednesday.
The body and family of 26-year-old Army Private First Class Chad Clements landed in Fort Wayne Wednesday morning.
Clements was killed about a week ago in a roadside bombing in Afghanistan.
His family will release details about his funeral after the procession.
Which is transporting Clements' remains from Fort Wayne to Huntington.
The route will include U.S. 24, Flaxmill Road and Hitzfield Street, past his home.
The procession will be lead by three of Clements' cousins. Two state troopers and a Huntington police officer and another Huntington officer, who's a neighbor.
People are encouraged to line the route to show their support.
