Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - This Independence Day some upset men and women who served our country are protesting outside the Veterans Administration Hospital on Lake Avenue.

More than 20-people picketed for veterans to have better health care at the VA Hospital.

They say the hospital is short staffed with workers, and they believe veterans deserve better care than what they are receiving now.

They also say something has to be done "now" to the hospital, not later.

The Veterans Hospital was almost closed in 2005.
