Indiana (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Two small earthquakes rattled residents in southwestern Indiana Thursday evening.
The U.S. Geological Survey says both quakes centered near the Knox County town of Bicknell. The first quake had a magnitude of 2.7 and the second about an hour later registered 3.1.
Knox County is within the Wabash Valley Seismic Zone which is Indiana’s most seismic area.
In 2008 Knox County was shaken by a magnitude 5.2 earthquake.
