Suicide After $200,000 Stolen From Local School District (VIDEO)

KOSIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – A Kosiusko woman committed suicide after a police questioning over $200,000 stolen from the local school district.

Sherri Adamson, former Treasurer for the school corporation, was questioned after her purse was found in a Wal-Mart this past January.

Officers found several checks belonging to the school district that were made out to and signed by Adamson. Along with these checks, police found the school districts credit card.

Police went to Adamson’s place of employment to question her. After a brief conversation, she ran out the door and later committed suicide.
