BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Basketball fans at Assembly Hall in Bloomington can look forward to a "sound season" thanks to Fort Wayne's largest audio retailer.
Sweetwater Sound, the third largest music instrument and pro-audio retailer in the United States, announced it provided and installed $750,000 worth of audio equipment inside Indiana University's college hoops mecca.
The company collaborated with All Pro Sound, a Pensacola, Fla.-based audio installation business, to install the large investment.
Officials say a project of this mass typically takes three to six months to complete. Sweetwater and All Pro Sound completed the project in about one month.
The equipment features 90 public address speakers, four subwoofers and a 24-channel digital mixer.
Sweetwater founder and President Chuck Surack said, in a statement Wednesday, he was glad an Indiana company could provide the sound system.
