The End Nears for Windows XP (NBC33 VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) - April 8th is the deadline for one of America's most popular operating systems - Windows XP.

On that date, Microsoft will be issuing its final system update after supporting Windows XP for 12 years. After that, users will no longer be offered advanced software to protect themselves from spyware and viruses.

That includes updates from third party virus software programs.
