BLUFFTON, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Turning a negative into a positive can be difficult, but it can also be amazing!

That's what an area woman and her husband do every day.

Rhonda and Tim O'Reilly lost their daughter Jennifer in a car crash in 2004.

The following year, the couple wanted to help other families to honor their daughter.

They came up with Karing for Kids, helping eight families at Christmas time with $100 each.

Now? The program's grown to hundreds of families and thousands of gifts.

Karing for Kids led to an Angel Tree Program and also to Jennifer's Closet which provides clothing to families. It also led to a carnival for the School Supply Project which provides items for back-to-school.

All of this because of Rhonda's giving heart, some wonderful people who donate and the memory of a daughter who loved people.

Rhonda O'Reilly says, "She was 16 when she died in a car accident. She always had a heart to give things to people, give clothes to people, and that's kind of why we started Jennifer's Closet so people in need could get free clothing as they needed it. It's only by the grace of God that I can work fulltime and do this, and I have a lot of great help. We have several that never even knew our daughter. Our family, we do this in memory of Jennifer, and it helps us keep her spirit alive. But, most people never even knew her, and it's about our daughter, but it's also about sharing the love for Jesus with others."

Mike Cady who nominated Rhonda says, "We have a big meeting after our Christmas drive project, and we get to read some of the letters that we get from the families. You just get one letter, and it changes everything because you know that family was really touched."

If you'd like to donate any time or help with any of the programs, the website is www.karingforkids.us.
