TinCaps, Opening Day Around the Corner

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Play Ball!
Well, not quite yet but the Fort Wayne TinCaps are gearing up for the start of the season with Saturday's open house.

There was free parking for all and plenty of food and fun activities for fans' enjoyment.

If you missed Saturday's event, don't worry. A "Meet the Team" event is planned for this Wednesday, April 6, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

There's free admission for the event, watch the team practice, get autographs and catch a glimpse of what the season will be like.

The TinCaps open the season Thursday at 7:05 p.m. against the South Bend Silver Hawks.
