PLAINFIELD, Ind. (21Alive) - A burst of severe weather left damages and spawned tornadoes in Central Indiana on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service confirmed an EF1 tornado touched down in Plainfield, Ind. The twister through a camper onto the roof of a house, according to the preliminary report from NWS.
In all, 17 homes were damaged in Hendricks County, NWS says.
Funnel clouds were spotted near Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the suburb of Speedway. No tornado has been confirmed there, yet.
Tornado sirens sounded across Hamilton County, too.
