FLORIDA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A grand jury will not be hearing evidence in the Trayvon Martin investigation.
The special prosecutor could still charge George Zimmerman with something like manslaughter in martin's death.
But a first-degree murder charge would require a grand jury indictment and the special prosecutor says she will not convene a panel.
The neighborhood watch volunteer maintains he shot the unarmed 17-year-old in self-defense.
