Victim of Gardendale Avenue Shooting Identified

Fort Wayne, IN (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - 23-year-old Brandon Abernathy has been identified as the man shot and killed Thursday evening in the 1500 block of Gardendale Avenue.

Police were called to the home around 9, that’s where they found Abernathy suffering from a bullet wound.

He is the 13th homicide in Allen County so far this year.

No arrests have been made at this time.
