Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The World Champion Voices of Unity Youth Choir left for the World Choir Games early Tuesday morning.

They're on their way to Cincinnati to sing along-side Gospel mega-star, Kirk Franklin, for the opening ceremonies.

The youth choir will also compete against over 30,000 singers from around the world.

Despite the past few days, choir members say they can't wait to reclaim the gold.

11-year-old Szarita Comer said, “I'm looking forward to defending the Gold and have fun while I'm there.”

15-year-old Camryn Abram said, “I couldn't even go to sleep last night. I was so ready to get on the bus and see everyone, and I'm just ready to go compete because we're going to win!”

Voices of Unity won the World Choir Games in china in 2010.

Best of luck!
