Vornado Space Heaters Recalled

WASHINGTON D.C., (21Alive) -- Vornado Air has recalled about 79,000 of it's VH110 electronic space heaters due to possible fire hazard.

The models recalled were sold in two colors, black and white. Vornado received 29 reports of the units overheating and eventually melting. Seven of the reports say the heaters caught fire. There was one report of smoke inhalation and another report of property damage from smoke and soot.

The units have been sold at Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Depot, Menards and Target among others.
