Walk of Shame for Registered Sex Offender (with Video)

PETERSBURG, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – An Indiana judge gives a “walk of shame” punishment to a registered sex offender.

After violating his parole, Larry Bass was ordered to walk the sidewalk in front of Pike County Courthouse for one hour wearing a sign that read “I am a registered sex offender, and I bought alcohol for kids.”

The prosecutor says if it deters any future crimes it’s worth it. Bass called the experience humiliating. He also has to serve 823 days in a work release facility.
