KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - $50,000 worth of stolen items were found in a Syracuse home Wednesday. Over the past month several homes have been broken into throughout Kosciusko County.

"We are very, very happy, the detectives as well as, I'm sure, many of the residents,” said Sgt. Chad Hill, Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.

57-year-old Ronald Bohn was wanted for a parole violation. When deputies went to his home to arrest him they found 5 guns, electronics, jewelry and other stolen goods. He's now facing felony charges.

"We had a couple different possible leads of vehicles but up until this point in time they'd been kind of frivolous,” said Hill.

Sgt. Hill doesn’t think Bohn acted alone and hopes to make more arrests.

"What the detectives actually learned as of yesterday is that there might be more individuals that might have been assisting this individual in these home burglaries and thefts,” said Hill.

So far 5 of the break-ins have been tied to Bohn. Investigators also found a large amount of pot inside his home.
