Whitley County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – A house fire occurred Wednesday morning in Whitley County.
Firefighters received a call from the home at 2:15 a.m. The house is located on 500 E. near the South end of the county.
People in the house were able to get out safely. However, the home is at total loss.
The firefighters had to bring tankers of water because the house was far out. The electrical lines around the home also made it difficult to get big equipment and ladders close to the home.
There is no word on what might have sparked the fire.
