Woman Charged With OWI After Crashing Car Into A Motel

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Officers from the Steuben County Sheriff's Office, along with fire and EMS units responded to the Budgeteer Motor Inn on SR 127 for a report of a car that struck the building causing extensive damage Monday evening.

Patricia Racine, 50, of Burlington, Vermont struck the building while driving a 2002 Honda Accord. Racine would not cooperate with officers at the scene. According to the Sheriff's report, it appeared that Racine had struck the building while attempting to park.

Officers say Racine showed signs of intoxication and they took her in for a breathalyzer test. Racine was arrested and book in the Steuben County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated.
