FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Wristbands are being given out to support Austin Hatch in his recovery.

Jake and Zach Drapala came up with the idea to customize the basketball bands because they were teammates.

The wristbands are free, but they are taking donations for Austin and his family.

So many people wanted the bands that the Drapalas had to order more.

Austin's Teammate Jake Drapala says, “We wanted to show our love for Austin and so we thought it would be a good idea because our families are important to us and we want Austin to know that he has family wherever he goes. And it's also a good constant reminder to those who wear them to give their love and prayers to Austin whenever they look at it.”

If you want a wristband, you can email Jake and Zach.
