WARSAW, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Warsaw-based Zimmer has laid off an undisclosed number of employees.
The orthopedics manufacturer also cut positions at other locations.
According to our partner in news, the Journal Gazette, a Zimmer spokesman cites "ongoing company restructuring" as a reason for the cuts.
The move comes on the heels of drastically lower fourth quarter earnings released about a week ago.
Zimmer employs about 2,800 people in Warsaw.
