YMCA to Offer Flu Shots to the Community

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne has partnered with Redimed through the Lutheran Health Network to provide flu shots to adult community members at four area YMCA branches.
The dates that the flu shots will be offered are as follows:
Monday, November 14th from 9-11 a.m. or 4-6 p.m. at the Parkview Family YMCA, 10001 Dawsons Creed Blvd.
Wednesday, November 16th from 4-6 p.m. at Wells County YMCA, 1935 N. Main Street in Bluffton
Monday, November 21st from 9-11 a.m. or 4-6 p.m. at Jorgensen Family YMCA, 10313 Aboite Center Road
Tuesday, November 22nd from 4-6 p.m at Renaissance Pointe YMCA, 2323 Bowser Ave
The cost for the shot is $20 and can be paid by check, exact cash, or with a Medicare Part B card. No appointment is necessary, but you must be 18 to participate.
“As part of our goal to build healthy families and communities we are pleased to offer this convenient opportunity for people to get their flu shots at a local YMCA branch,” said Nicole Liddell, Director of Mission Advancement for the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne.
