FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The legal battle over a new abortion law that cuts medicaid funds to Planned Parenthood in Indiana has taken another turn.
Attorney General Greg Zoeller filed a request with a federal appeals court yesterday in a bid to overturn a lower court's ruling and reinstate the state law.
The ruling in June blocked parts of the law from taking effect.
Though the state is appealing the ruling, officials have also complied with it by recently awarding the group a $6,000 dollar grant.
