Traffic Stop Puts Breaks on Pot Trafficking

HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Two men are in police custody, facing several drug charges.

31 year old Adam Morris of Butler and 40 year old Cory Horn were arrested after they were pulled over near Roanoke around 9:45 Tuesday night.

Officials say the state police trooper who pulled their car over found about two pounds of marijuana in an open tackle box in the back seat. The trooper also found several prescription pills,drug paraphernalia and more than $750.

A pitbull that was in the car during the traffic stop was taken to a local animal shelter.

Morris is preliminarily charged with Dealing in a Controlled Substance, Habitual Traffic Violator, Dealing Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Horn is preliminarily charged with Dealing in a Controlled Substance, Dealing Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia
