FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - This past weekend and today, we received nearly half of the total rainfall for the entire month. Saturday saw .23", Sunday had .54", and early this morning, we've already recorded .63" of rain. That's a total of 1.4" in less than 3 days! Our total rainfall for the month is now up to 2.98", which is 1.25" more rain than we usually have by this time of the month.
A low pressure system will continue to spin over Illinois, which will keep the chance for rain until Wednesday. We won't see much more rain the rest of the day, but a few scattered showers are possible for the first half of the day. Then, this afternoon should bring cloudy skies and dry conditions. Scattered rain showers are once again a possibility tonight, with another chance for scattered rain on Tuesday and Wednesday.
