FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) - Clean up continues at the site of one of Fort Wayne's largest fires in recent memory.

Last August, fire crews battled a blaze in the 1200 block of Herbert Street for nine hours. After the fire, asbestos was found on-site posing a temporary health threat.

Clean up crews are still on location picking up and recycling the remains. A city spokesman says the owner of the property is responsible for any clean up and so far has been doing so on schedule.

There is no time frame for the work to be completed.
