Suspect Arrested In Marion Homicide

MARION, Ind. (incnow.tv) -- Police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting late Sunday night.

According to a statement released by the Marion Police Department, reports of a shooting at the intersection of Butler and Nelson Streets came out at 10:15 PM.

Crews responding to that call found Randall Lahr, 29, suffering from several gunshot wounds. Lahr was later pronounced dead.

Police say they arrested a suspect, Francisco Amaro, 29, and brought him in for questioning.

The name of that suspect as well as the identity of the victim is expected to be released later Monday.
