HUNTINGTON, Ind. (NBC33) -- After more than six months of keeping to herself, 17-year-old Alexis Fairchild broke her silence Thursday morning about a traumatic parasailing accident in Panama City Beach, on The TODAY Show
Sidney Good spoke over the phone with Good Morning America Wednesday.
"I don't see a reason to play the victim card. I don't see the reason why I should be so upset about what happened," Fairchild told NBC Reporter Kerry Sanders. "Why can't I just step up and be like, this happened to me? And it should never happen to anyone else. You know, why not take a stand and try to get regulations? I would never wish what happened to me on anyone else."
The parasailing industry in Florida remains unregulated for the most part.
