Teens Busted in Burglary Spree in Steuben County

Clear Lake (INDIANA'S NEWSCENTER) - Police have arrested three teenagers amid an investigation into a series of break-ins in Clear Lake.

Officials say the boys, ranging in age between 13 and 16, are being charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

The bust comes after items were stolen from several garages, sheds and vehicles last weekend and Monday night.

The teens were taken into custody after authorities say they obtained confessions from several people involved in the break-ins.

Police are now returning the stolen property to its owners.

Authorities plan to charge more suspects in this case.
