Massive Manhunt in North Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, IN (Indiana's News Center)---A massive police search occurred on the North side of Fort Wayne Tuesday evening.
More than 20 county police officers and several city and state officers were on the look out for 5 to 6 men on Diebold Road.

A 27-year old man living on Diebold Road was the supposed victim of an armed robbery.
The man told police five to six other men robbed him and ran away on foot.
Police used K-9's to try to pick up a trail, armed officers surrounded the area, and a state police plane searched from the sky.
Because of the severity of the alleged crime Parkview North and Dupont hospitals were locked-down as a precaution.

The search ended after just about an hour with no suspects caught.

*UPDATE*
As of Wedensday July 2nd, County Police say that the case is still under investigation and that no more information can be released at this time.
