FORT WAYNE, Ind (Indiana's NewsCenter)-Are the owners of the Fort Wayne TinCaps in debt to a company who helped build Parkview Field? A lien hold in the Allen County Recorders Office indicates so.

The Irwin Seating Company filed a lien against Hardball Capital on Tuesday because Hardball Capital owed the Irwin Seating Company nearly $141,000. Jason Freier, owner of the Fort Wayne TinCaps says Hardball Capital had indeed paid the bill and Irwin Seating Company confirmed that Thursday afternoon. But it brings to mind the stability of the organization financially. Freier says times are tough, but over the long haul of this recession, he says Hardball and the Fort Wayne TinCaps will be fine.

Freier says "We believe that we have a strong business to build upon. I think once the economy gets better we will do better as well. But more than anything I think we have a product that even if this economy drags on for quite a while, we are on very solid footing."

Freier went on to say the TinCaps will remain in downtown Fort Wayne for a long time.
