EVANSVILLE/ FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A nurse at an Evansville Hospital has died after being ill with flu symptoms.

Saint Mary's Medical Center officials are waiting for test results to confirm whether 53-year-old Danna Fortune had the H1N1 flu.

Fortune was a nurse in the newborn intensive care unit at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.

She died at the hospital this past Friday from pneumonia and possibly complications from the H1N1 flu.

Her daughter says Fortune did not get vaccinated against the H1N1 due to a shortage of the vaccine
