Voters in Ohio are going to the polls today to decide whether to reverse their long-held opposition to expanded gambling.

Both Indiana and Michigan have casinos and they would be the hardest hit if Ohio decided to allow one casino in each corner of the state.

One estimate said indiana could lose up to 100-million in casino revenue if casinos were added in Ohio

This is the 5th time since 1990 the issue has been on the ballot.

It was soundly defeated by a 2-1 margin just last year.

Workers at a Hicksville polling site said turnout has been steady today.

Voters we talked with seemed split on the casino issue, those who supported the idea of casinos, seemed to lean that way because of the gambling business that is going "out" of state to places like Indiana and Michigan.

Jim Corkwell "I think they should be there, keep the money in Ohio".

Susan Gonwick "it's a double-edged sword, if you want to save the libraries do you vote for the casinos if that's what will keep them? Ron Hard "I guess until it finally passes they're going to keep popping it up for us.

Millions of dollars have been spent on advertising in hops of swaying the decisions of Ohio voters.

The polls close at 7:30pm.
