FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A 20-year-old man died early Saturday morning on Fort Wayne’s southwest side after being shot to death.

Police say they responded to a shooting around 4:45am, and found the man in critical condition from a gunshot wound.

Witnesses say the victim was hanging out at a late night house party and had been drinking.

Investigators are still looking into the incident but neighbors believe the man was playing a deadly game of Russian roulette.

“I got the knock at the door and when I seen the scene I couldn’t believe it. I told the girl to stop playing, then I saw it for myself and that was the last time I seen him”, said J. Crews, the victim’s neighbor.

Officers have been interviewing witnesses and are still trying to figure out whether the victim was playing Russian roulette with a group of friends or by himself.

The Allen County Coroner’s offices will conduct an autopsy and then release the victim’s name.
