FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Teams of builders competed in Plank-A-Palooza 2011 at Lincolin Financial Event Center, today.
Officials with the Early Childhood Alliance said their goal was to inspire creativity and promote teamwork to come up with the best design using 500 KEVA wood planks.
The contestants could not use any glue but instead used their knowledge of the laws in math and science.
E.A.C. of Northeast Indiana provides quality care and education with a "family first" approach.
This year's winner was 5th grader, Conner Partaker, and his father.
