FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Just before 4 p.m. Monday, Fort Wayne Police found a man's body on the sidewalk of Calhoun Street near Murray Street.
Investigators pronounced the man dead at scene. They believe he died from natural causes.
Officers said witnesses told them they saw the man staggering. Then he fell and looked like he was sitting down and resting. But apparently he collapsed and died.
The Allen County Coroner's Office has taken over the investigation.
Calhoun Street was closed between Murray Street and Wallace Street for an hour but has re-opened.
