COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Another Walgreens was robbed Wednesday afternoon. This time the robbers struck in Columbia City.
The suspect showed a note demanding prescription painkillers. The suspect is described as a male white approximately 5'7" to 5'10", medium build, wearing a black hat with yellow lettering, black jacket with possible hood and blue jeans. The suspect fled on foot heading south.
This makes it the sixth in a span of five weeks. Police say there have been more pharmacy robberies than bank robberies likely because of the high demand for the pain killer Opana.
